No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would make changes to the law regarding requests from property owners and managers to change from submetering of water bills to an allocation method. Any additional responsibilties required of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality could be accomplished using existing agency staff and resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
