No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow the Railroad Commission to regulate all activities that are under its jurisdiction and associated with the accumulation of hydrocarbons with respect to oil and gas wells. The Railroad Commission reports that this would have no impact to its operations.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
