No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code and provide for an alternative procurement procedure for architectural, engineering, or land surveying services. It is assumed that any additional duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.
