No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would establish procedures for filling a vacancy on an emergency services district board for a district located in more than one county. The bill would take effect September 1, 2005. The bill would apply only to filling a vacancy of an initial commissioner elected on or after the effective date.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
