IN RE:
HB2731 by Flores (Relating to the model subdivision rules adopted by the Texas Water Development Board to assure that minimum standards for safe and sanitary water supply and sewer services in residential areas of certain political subdivisions are met.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would prohibit a model subdivision rule from requiring a lot purchaser to maintain a financial guarantee to ensure that sufficient funds are available for the installation of water and sewer service for longer than a three-year period if there is no dwelling on the lot. The bill would not have a significant impact of the Texas Water Development Board.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
