HB2732 by Flores (Relating to platting requirements for certain residential subdivisions in the unincorporated area of a county.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapters 212, 232, and 242 of the Local Government Code; Section 12.002(d) of the Property Code; and Sections 16.352 and 26.001 of the Water Code, as well as repeal Sections 232.0015(b), 232.022(a), and Subchapter C of Chapter 232 of the Local Government Code, resulting in requiring that all cities and counties in the state adopt more stringent regulations for certain subdivisions.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2005 and would apply only to a tract of land subdivided on or after that date.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
