IN RE:
HB2746 by Deshotel (Relating to the examination requirements for mold assessors and remediators.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends Section 1958.105, Occupations Code, to specify that if the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) requires an applicant for a mold assessors and remediators license to pass a competency examination to qualify for the license, the applicant must pass with a score of 70 percent or more.

DSHS indicates that current staff would be able to establish rules for the requirements of the bill.
