HB2827 by Hamric (Relating to the numbering of emergency services districts converted from rural fire prevention districts.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would remove the requirement that the numbering of an emergency services district that was converted from a rural fire prevention district be consecutive, and would require instead that the numbering be sufficient to distinguish one district from another. The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
