IN RE: | HB2852 by Uresti (Relating to the creation and use of certain certificates issued for completion of approved driver safety courses.), As Introduced |
The bill would amend provisions in Chapter 1001, Texas Education Code relating to the issuance of certificates of course completion for driver safety courses. The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in both houses; otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2005.
Based on the analysis of Texas Education Agency, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
