HB2855 by Uresti (Relating to the Texas Building and Procurement Commission's contracts with travel agencies.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would prohibit the Texas Building and Procurement Commission from contracting with a travel agency to provide travel services for state agencies. It is assumed that any additional duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.

 

The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house. If the bill does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, it would take effect September 1, 2005.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
