No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to providing the Commissioner of Insurance the authority to establish a voluntary joint underwriting association when a bond or insurance is not reasonably available.  The Department of Insurance anticipates any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.

This bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
