No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would authorize in certain circumstances a district attorney, county attorney, or criminal district attorney, to withhold from public inspection or disclosure an autopsy report in which it is concluded that the cause of death was a criminal homicide. The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.
