HB3010 by Grusendorf (Relating to the transfer of a failure to attend school proceeding to juvenile court.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would prohibit a juvenile court from refusing to accept the transfer of a Failure to Attend School case for certain children if a prosecuting attorney for the court determines that the case is legally sufficient under Section 53.01, Family Code. The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
