LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas

FISCAL NOTE, 79TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

April 11, 2005

TO:
Honorable Mike Krusee, Chair, House Committee on Transportation

FROM:
John S. O'Brien, Deputy Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB3041 by Branch (Relating to the designation of the structure on Spur 366 connecting the east and west levee of the Trinity River as the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to design, construct, and erect markers designating the structure on Spur 366 located in the city of Dallas connecting the east and west levee of the Trinity River as the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge.

Based on the analysis of TxDOT, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing provisions of the bill would be minimal and could be absorbed by using existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
