IN RE:	HB3045 by Kolkhorst (Relating to the juvenile boards of Grimes, Leon, Madison, and Walker Counties.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Human Resources Code to require the commissioners court in Grimes, Leon, Madison, and Walker counties to pay the juvenile board members not less than $1,200 annually. The bill would also change the composition of the Leon County juvenile board.

The bill would take effect immediately if it receives the required two-thirds vote in each house; otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
