No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Human Resources Code to require the commissioners court in Grimes, Leon, Madison, and Walker counties to pay the juvenile board members not less than $1,200 annually. The bill would also change the composition of the Leon County juvenile board. In addition, sections of the Human Resources Code would be repealed, resulting in various subsections that currently do not apply to the four counties affected by the bill to apply.
