No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would provide a penalty for hunting on certain parts of Big Sandy Creek. The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code to add that a person may use a boat or any other type of floating device on Big Sandy Creek within certain areas to hunt or to access any land to hunt any wild bird or wild animal. The bill would provide penalties for violation of bill provisions. The bill, if adopted, would add requirements for law enforcement at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. However, it is anticipated that any additional workload could be absorbed within existing agency resources.

Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
