IN RE:	HB3198 by Hope (Relating to a revision of the procedures for municipal annexation in certain municipalities. ), Committee Report 1st House, As Amended

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would revise the procedures required for municipal annexation, establishing certain procedures in municipalities with a population under 45,000. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives the required two-thirds vote in each house; otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
