HB3261 by Van Arsdale (Relating to requiring approval of certain contracts entered into between superintendents and independent school districts.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require school districts to obtain the approval of the Teacher Retirement System for superintendent contracts that provide for an annual salary increase of 20 percent or more.  Any associated administrative costs to the Teacher Retirement System would be anticipated to be insignificant.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
