IN RE:	HB3335 by Hartnett (Relating to a hearing on certain unclaimed property determinations.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Property Code and allow an individual to petition the Comptroller for a hearing on an unclaimed property audit determination.  It is assumed that any additional duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.

This bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
