No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code relating to the expunction of certain alcohol-related convictions committed by a minor.  The bill would allow a person, once 19 years of age, convicted of one violation of the Alcoholic Beverage Code to apply to the court in which the person was convicted to have the conviction expunged.

 

The bill would take effect on September 1, 2005.
