No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to training requirements for a technician who installs fire alarm systems in homes and businesses in Texas.  The Department of Insurance states there may be minimal revenue increase depending on the number of entities that acquire the new license.  The Department of Insurance anticipates any additional work resulting from the passage of the bill could be reasonably absorbed within current resources.

This bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
