No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 62 of the Parks and Wildlife Code relating to the possession or shooting of a handgun on the land of the Lower Colorado River Authority by a person licensed to carry a concealed handgun.  The bill would provide an exception to the prohibition of possessing a firearm on property of the Lower Colorado River Authority under certain circumstances.  The bill would prevent a state agency, including Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, the Department of Public Safety, and the Lower Colorado River Authority from adopting rules that conflict with the provisions of the bill.  To the extent the bill would require state agencies to administer or modify rules, no fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
