IN RE: | HJR98 by Menendez (Proposing a constitutional amendment to allow library districts to impose property taxes.), As Introduced |
The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $66,497.
The resolution would propose a constitutional amendment to the Texas Constitution to allow the Legislature to authorize library districts to impose an ad valorem tax on property located in the district. The proposed amendment alone would have no fiscal impact on the state or units of local government.
