No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would provide an extension of the time required to complete continuing education requirements or requirements relating to the extension or renewal of a certificate or permit for educators who are called to active military service. This extension would apply to certified educators who are or were ordered to report for active duty on or after September 1, 2004.
