No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Texas Department of Insurance reports that the enactment of this bill will change the current examination process in the Health Maintenance Organization's Quality Assurance Section.   Any additional workload associated with the implementation of this bill can be handled with existing staff and resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
