No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add to the types of manual labor assignments that can be given to a person convicted of certain crimes an assignment to perform work for a nonprofit organization that provides services to the community. The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
