No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Government Code to add an educational course and testing prerequisite to the qualification requirements for appointment or reappointment as a notary public. It is anticipated that any additional costs to the agency's existing program would be minimal.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
