No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would remove law enforcement officers commissioned by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy from being covered by the Employees Retirement System as a law enforcement officer. This would only apply to a person who begins employment as a law enforcement officer of the Texas Board of Pharmacy on or after the effective date of the bill. The bill would be effective September 1, 2005.
