LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas

FISCAL NOTE, 79TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

March 29, 2005

TO:
Honorable Steve Ogden, Chair, Senate Committee on Finance

FROM:
John S. O'Brien, Deputy Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
SB284 by Ellis (Relating to charitable contributions by state employees to certain General Land Office programs.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill changes the name of a state employee charitable program and adds Adopt-a-Beach to the list of eligible state employee charitable programs.  The bill if enacted would have no significant fiscal impact on the General Land Office as the additional revenue to the Adopt-a-Beach program is anticipated to be minimal.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
