SB302 by Ellis (Relating to reports regarding participation in higher education.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require higher education institutions to submit to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board reports detailing strategies intended to increase minority participation in higher education. The institutions would be required to submit the report by July 1 of each year. The respective institutions should be able to absorb the costs associated with compiling the required reports.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
