SB361 by Carona (Relating to the provision of information relating to the programs and services available for persons with mental retardation seeking residential services. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) to include state schools among the residential options offered to an individual eligible for state school services. The bill would require DADS to ensure that a state school may be determined to be a least restrictive environment for some individuals.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
