IN RE:
SB452 by Wentworth (Relating to transferring the duties of the Texas Building and Procurement Commission under the public information law to the attorney general.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code and transfer administration of the Public Information Act from the Texas Building and Procurement Commission (TBPC) to the Office of the Attorney (OAG). All personnel employed by the TBPC who perform functions under the Act, totaling 1 FTE, and all appropriations for performing those duties, totaling approximately $50,000 in General Revenue, would be transferred to the OAG.
