No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.


The bill would include among the conditions under which a Teacher Retirement System retiree can be employed by a public school district without being subject to a cessation of monthly annuity payments retirees certified under Subchapter B, Chapter 21, Education Code with at least five years teaching experience in a public school who become employed as a mentor to other teachers and who have been separated from service with all public schools for at least 12 months.
