No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 31 of the Parks and Wildlife Code relating to the license requirements of marine dealers, distributors, and manufacturers.  The bill would remove the requirement for the sale of vessels or outboard motors to occur at an established or permanent place of business.  The bill would add a requirement that marine dealers, distributors, and manufacturers enter into a license agreement with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), and would authorized the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission to adopt rules providing for license requirements, revocations, and suspensions.  To the extent the bill would require the TWPD to implement and administer rules, no significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
