No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add to the information required for inclusion in a court judgment, in the corrections tracking system maintained by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ), and in the automated tracking system maintained by the Community Justice Assistance Division of TDCJ.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2005. The change in law regarding requirements for a court judgment would apply only to a judgment entered on or after the effective date. The change in law regarding requirements of the tracking systems would apply only to a criminal history record created for a defendant arrested for an offense committed on or after the effective date.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
