SB1063 by Staples (Relating to the rates of certain retail public utilities.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would delete language providing an exemption from provisions regarding certain Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) proceeds to a public utility providing utility service in only 24 counties on January 1, 2003. No significant change in TCEQ workload is expected.   

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
