No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill requires that at least 25 percent of the total amount of Texas Enterprise Fund grants be made to recipients that are small-business concerns or that commit to using the grants to create new small-business concerns. No significant fiscal implication to the state is anticipated as the bill redirects appropriated amounts.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
