IN RE:
SB1138 by Estes (Relating to a student recreational and health facilities fee at Midwestern State University.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

Under provisions of the bill, Midwestern State University is authorized to increase the recreational and health facilities fee to an amount not to exceed $130 for each semester of the regular term or summer session of 12 weeks or longer and not to exceed $65 for each summer session of less than 12 weeks. The amount of revenue generated by the fee, locally assessed by Midwestern State University, would depend on the fee amount assessed by the University and could increase with enrollment growth.
