No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Civil Practices and Remedies Code to include a section that applies to any party seeking to designate a responsible third party under Section 33.004 of the Code.  The bill would include Section 33.004 as a controlling section in the event of a conflict
