No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Subchapter V, Chapter 51, of the Education Code by adding Section 51.8265 titled Preadmission Mentoring and Assistance.  The subsection establishes guidelines for the Joint Admission Medical Program Council to identify students that may be eligible to participate in the Joint Admission Medical Program not later than the beginning of the fall semester following the student’s gradation from high school.
