No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to the application of certain laws to certain commercially domiciled insurers and insurers that are part of an insurance company holding system.  Based on the analysis of the Department of Insurance, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
