SB1374 by Staples (Relating to notice regarding an exception from elementary school size limits.), Committee Report 1st House, As Amended

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require a notice to be provided to parents within 10 working days of the date a campus or district submits an application for a class size waiver.
 
The bill would take effect immediately upon enactment with the necessary voting majorities or September 1, 2005 and would apply beginning with the 2005-06 school year.

Local Government Impact

As similar notice is required under current law, no significant fiscal implications are anticipated for local school districts.
