LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD
Austin, Texas

FISCAL NOTE, 79TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

April 11, 2005

TO:
Honorable Rodney Ellis, Chair, Senate Committee on Government Organization

FROM:
John S. O'Brien, Deputy Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
SB1491 by Williams (Relating to a fee charged for services provided by the staff of the state law library.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

According to the State Law Library, any costs to implement the bill would be insignificant as the library already has a mechanism in place for billing.  Any increases in these costs would be dependent upon the number of agencies contracting with the library for services and the amount of services they will require.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
