No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code and provide for additional reporting requirements on existing reports filed with the Texas Ethics Commission. Any additional duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.

The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in both houses; otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
