IN RE:	SB1513 by Averitt (Relating to an interim study regarding the operation of certain state health insurance programs.), Committee Report 2nd House, As Amended

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would establish a state health insurance interim committee consisting of five senators and five members of the house of representatives who would study state expenditures on health insurance and health benefit programs currently administered by the Employees Retirement System of Texas, the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, the University of Texas System, and the Texas A&M University System.  The committee would report their findings and recommendations to the 80th Legislature.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
