No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code as it relates to the use of electronically readable information from a driver’s license or personal identification certificate by a commercial business.   
The bill would take effect September 1, 2005. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
