SB1686 by Estes (Relating to an interagency work group on rural issues.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to require a designee of the Governor's Office to attend an annual meeting in Austin to discuss rural issues and provide information for use in developing rural policy.

It is assumed that provisions of the bill could be implemented and accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2005.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
