IN RE: | HB1795 by Crownover (Relating to the creation of health savings accounts for certain individuals eligible to participate in the insurance coverage provided under the Texas Employees Group Benefits Act and their dependents.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted |
CSHB 1795 changes the Insurance Code to allow participants in the Employees Retirement System group benefits plan to choose an optional combination of a high deductible health plan along with a health savings account. The bill, if enacted, will have no actuarial effect because it does not propose to change the funding or obligations of any public retirement system.
