         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 3, 2005, the House  
         Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a public hearing and  
         was called to order by the chair, Representative Hardcastle, at  
         8:02 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Hardcastle; Anderson; Brown, Betty;  
                    Burnam; Herrero (5). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Farrar; Olivo (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         The Committee heard invited testimony from the following State  
         Agencies: 
              Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners 
              Texas State Soil & Water Conservation Board 
              Structural Pest Control Board 
              Texas Food & Fibers Commission 
          
         At 9:40 a.m., on the motion of Representative Herrero and  
         without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call  
         of the chair.
